Open Heaven

Is Heaven merely your future spiritual address, closed until your earthly funeral, OR is Heaven your open conduit to the promises of God for today? Heaven, that amazing, wonderful place, is the very throne of God (Isaiah 66:1), His dwelling place (2 Chron. 30:27), the authenticator of His Word (Psalm 119:89), and is where His holiness and His glory are always present (Isaiah 63:15). 1 Peter 1:3-4 reveals to us that, in Heaven, we have a godly inheritance that no one else can touch. Your heavenly birthright is reserved for you (God's elect) and it waits for you to access your blessings!

Since Heaven is the birthplace of all blessings (James 1:17), what determines whether blessings flow down to us or are held up, out of reach? How can we see an EPIC manifestation of God’s promises and break the cycle of failure and low expectations? Moses taught us that listening to God’s voice and following God’s plan will ensure that we prosper in our DUE SEASON (Deut. 11:14). But, if we turn away from God and reject His plan, God will SHUT UP HEAVEN (Deut. 11:17), the source of all blessings and life.

Thank God that heaven is designed as an open conduit (Deut. 28:12-13) and that God desires us to be the lender instead of the borrower, the head and not the tail, above ONLY and not beneath. If we find ourselves in a season of lack, struggling to make it and searching for hope, God promises restoration and abundance through unconditional obedience to Him (Malachi 3:10). Obedient Faith opens heaven’s windows and causes His blessings to flow. Then, He will send the early and latter rain, bringing restoration to our land and revival to our hearts (Joel 2:23-29).

We won’t be satisfied with just a few raindrops when God’s design for us is to experience an overflow! What if, instead of heavenly gifts flowing to you, Heaven’s gifts could flow through you (John 7:37-38)? What if you became God’s dwelling place and He used you as a conduit for His love and blessings? Jesus was our example of a heavenly conduit for God’s Kingdom. God opened Heaven in Him (Luke 3:21) and now it is our turn. Jesus said in John 14:12 (MSG) ‘The person who trusts me will not only do what I'm doing but even greater things, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I've been doing. You can count on it.’

EPIC Faith will bring an EPIC Flow. God will OPEN HEAVEN in you!
